 Piotr Gacek (born 16 September 1978) is a Polish volleyball player, a member of Polish national team in 2005-2010 and Polish club Lotos Trefl Gdańsk, European Champion 2009, silver medalist of the World Championship 2006, double Polish Champion(2009, 2010).On September 27, 2008 he married to Karolina and in August 2010 his wife gave birth to their daughter Zofia.Piotr Gacek was in the Polish squad when the Polish national team won the gold medal of European Championship 2009. On September 14, 2009 he was awarded Knight's Cross of Polonia Restituta. After an outstanding performance in club season 2014/2015 he was called back to the National Team squad in 2015 and plays as the 2nd libero there
