Jacques grew up with volleyball his whole
life. He started playing club volleyball at age 12 for Belconnen Volleyball Club.
Joined AIS/ACTAS by age 15 and began full time training the following year. He
progressed through the National Youth and National Junior Teams, before
completing High School in 2009. He made his Australian National Team debut in
2010. He was part of the National Team squad in lead up to London Olympics. In
2011 moved to the University of Regina in Canada to play in the Canadian Interuniversity
Sport (CIS) Canada West conference. Most recently, he completed fourth year
playing and studying at the University of Regina and led the Canada West
conference in Digs/per set.
