Saturday wins would send France, Iran to Rio

 

Tokyo, Japan, June 3, 2016 - The first ticket to Rio from the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan was already issued on Thursday, when Poland secured their place at the Games this summer. On the penultimate day in Tokyo on Saturday, France and Iran will follow suit if they win their games.



China and Australia are among the teams that still have decent chances at qualifying for Rio from the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tokyo, but losing one more match would seriously damage these chances.  Read more.



Venezuela might be desperate to achieve their first victory at the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tokyo, but Saturday would be a tough day to do that as they are facing strong France, which would start packing for Rio with a win in this match.  Read more.
